I am considering buying a new computer. I pretty much decided to buy a P4, but I am not so sure about the motherboard.
It seems to me from recent posts, that people are pretty much excited about the new i845G chipset, but not so much about i850.
It also seems that i850 still provides the best performance, though.
Regarding that you can buy ABIT i850 MB from Newegg at a very reasonable price, and RDRam is not so much higher priced than DDR333, I would be very interested what more experinced users's opinions are about the choice between i850 and i845G?
Should I buy the stronger i850 OR the newer i845?
I would appreciate any answer from all aspect (e.g. price/value, stability, features and very importantly, the future of the chipsets).
