I already have a pentium 4 ddr setup (sis 645 w/ williamette) and would probably go northwood ne way. I have enough components to make a whole new comp instead up a cpu upgrade. So i need to pick on which mobo to get. I geuss i need:

sis 645dx or intel 845g or intel 845e based
good overclocking features
good vcore & vdimm settings
can overclock to pc3200 support
cmedia 6 channel sound or other good built-in sound
under $80

Thanks.

I dunno what prices are in USA but here the GA-8srx is the way to go IMO, its the cheapest by miles yet stable as anything, good overclocker
Doesnt ahve onboard 6 channel tho it is cmedia but so what here it costs $195 compared to $360 for Abit Bd7 or $460 for P4b266, spend the rest on a soundcard and a better vidcard and still ahev change.
This is a quality motherboard and should reach 150fsb with a 1.6a,people have got them to 166fsb, you may get an extra 5-10 fsb out of a Abit Bd7,expox- 4bda2 whatever but the price is so good you can spend it on other stuff and if u get past 150 fsb u have to pay extra for a better cooler in any case.
150 fsb is best for value IMO considering u can run on stock cooling and with the cheapest board which is the GA-8srx

Yeah, i was already thinking about that one. The only negative thing is that it still has the original sis 645.
