I would go with the Kyocera 1135... from the pics it looks a little smaller than the other 2... and the blue backlite display looks cool! 😀

Thats what I thought but one of my friends told me he's heard Kyocera phones don't have very good reception and personally I've never even heard of them before this.

Are you set on US Cellular or are there any other options? $45 for a 2 year agreement is nothing. I don't think you should be locked in for a 2 year agreement unless its a really great deal. Otherwise you're at their mercy...

Actually it's a $35 a month plan. Something like 400 minutes with free night and weekends which is just what I need. Not really much other options since the phone will also be required to work in Macomb next year at school.

Zip codes: 61252 & 61455

Agreed... I never sign anything more than 1-yr...

In fact I just got the new Motorola C332 yesterday for $30CAN (~$20 US) with no contract...

Personally the Motorola, I don't really like Kyocera...although that one looks better than most of their phones.

My mom's got the Kyocera. It's a great cute little phone, and the blue backlight pwns j00.

Yea, I just saw this at my friend's house. His step-mom just got one today from Verizon. 🙂

Yeah, with Verizon's AWESOME reception, pretty much any average phone kicks major @ss.

Audiovox - 3.8 ounces weight, 4.28"(L) x 1.9"(W)x.88"

Do you want a phone or do you want jewelry?
The Audiovox is smallest & lightest out of the bunch.

I personally wouldn?t get a cellular phone, because I don?t like work or friend contacting me whenever they want.

One thing that I hate people that have mobile phone, who tell you that they have to get off the phone because they are running out of minutes (this usually happens at the last week of the month). Why call your friend then tell them after 15 sec into the conversation that you don?t have time left?

Kyocera = Qualcom, AFAIK.

I probably wouldn't get the Audiovox personally. I would try out both the Mot and the Kyo in the store and see which one has better ease of operation, phonebook access, etc.

The kyocera is pretty nice, but then again so is the motorola v120.. Everyone i know with the v120 has a broken antenna.

Ok, so add $55 to each of those phone prices since your plan is under $40 unless I'm reading it wrong. 😉

Find out if Sprint is in those areas, Amazon gives good deals on phones...
