Which cell phone for my girlfriend?

My girlfriend asked me to recommend a cell phone to her. A couple of years ago, her son gave her his ten year old(?) Tracfone. Last week she dropped it in water and it longer works.

Most of the time the phone was turned off. She does not want a smart phone because she has an IPod. She is looking for a phone that is cheap, easy to text on, and has decent sound quality.

Can anyone recommend a phone to meet her needs?

What carrier is she using the phone with? You need to find get a slider with a full keyboard if she wants to text a lot

Buy another cheap Tracphone? There are several non-smart phones available for under $20.

Personally I would visit a local Family Dollar, Fry's Electronics or other large grocery store and buy one.

I know she said no smart phones but here's a good deal if you prefer Tracfone. If she takes the phone with her everywhere, it has a camera and GPS just in case for emergencies.
