Nero. I have never had a problem with it, unlike EZCD. It is simple to use, unlike EZCD.

Get it. Use it. Love it.

I've used both and have to give Nero the nod. Easy CD Creator Deluxe has a similar feature set, but not the standard version.

Nero is nice for audio or just burning files.
But there are a whole load of other program for more specific applications.

I used to use Nero.

Once it froze while buring a CD and screwed up my computer. I had to format it and reinstall everything, lost 1 month of Email since my last backup :|

I put it down as a freak occurence. Then it happened again a few weeks later.....:Q:|

I have been running EZCD for the past 10 months with absolutely no problems at all........guess which get my vote.

Nero. I used to use EZCD until one day after burning a bunch of CDs it decided my SCSI card was not compatible. Nero has worked fine ever since.

Go with nero all the way, especially if you're using WinXP

Nero's just a more complete program, and is more compatible with all the different things you might be doing.

I use NERO because when I upgraded to Windows 2000, EZCD said "Give me money, money, money for the latest version, your old crappy version only works on win9x. You can't even have a free sample!"

No way in hell was I going to pay for software before I knew it worked, and no way in hell was I going to deal with dual-booting to crappy old unstable windows 98 just to burn a CD. I found Nero, free to download and try for 30 days. It worked great. I've never looked back. EZCD left me hanging, while Nero saved the day.

I use EZCD...it was a pain to get it to work in XP since it required 5.0 platinum ($$) and then patches on top of that, but I've been using EZCD since I got my first burner a long time ago and like it's interface. I didn't bother installing all the other bloatware that was on the CD though. I use Nero when I need to burn certain files that EZCD won't do, but I like EZCD's interface more than Nero's.

Thanks for the opinions everyone...it seems Nero is preferred over Roxio....I guess I'll go download the demo and try it out. Where is the best place to purchase it for reasonable price?

Use anything BUT EZCD. It is worthless dog crap software. I have more coasters from that program than a cheap motel bar. And a few cd's where EZCD decided to insert a "gunshot" sound at the end of the cd that sends the whole room diving for cover. I HATE EZCD!!!
