Which CD-RW Drive is the best?

Christmas is coming up and I am building a new computer and need a new CD-RW drive (trying to get away from Yamaha aka "crap"). Right now I am looking at the Plextor 24x10x40A drive because of the 50 mail in rebate. So my question to everybody is "What is the BEST (best in Reliablility, MTBF, Performance, and Customer service)?

Well, my Sony 12x has been nothing short of fantastic. I'm not sure if Sony actually manufactured the unit themselves, but I think so.

I just got a 24x12x40 Liteon from Newegg for $85 shipped. I installed it last night and played with it for some time. I am very satified. It is very fast, the Nero software is top notch, and it was a breeze to install. It replaced an HP9100 that I hated and I really am glad that I did it. My only gripe, and it is really a small one, is that it is louder than the HP. Certainly not loud enough to recommend against it though.
By the way. New egg shipped it out in 1 day and it arrived 2 days later. Really happy with them. though that is not a new comment by any means.
