Hi all. Just finished building my first computer (and it worked) and was wondering which video drivers I should install for the ATI 9800 Pro? System specs below.

Antec Sonata
ASUS P4C800-E Dx
2x512 Corsair XMS3200LL
ATI 9800 Pro
Seagate 7200.7 SATA 120Gig
Plextor 708A DVD-R
Sony DVD-ROM
Sony 1.44 Floppy

Thanks,
Gary

Thanks - I was wondering if those drivers since they were just out would be recommended for someone not on the "cutting edge" meaning should I install the most previous version that has been installed by many people, or this new version that is only recently out.

Latest drivers have the latest bug fixes that older drivers don`t have,I`m using the 4.1s with no problems with my 9700NP.

OK, I'm sure this is a loaded question, but the Omega drivers will work better for me than the manufactureres (ATI)?

Catalyst 4.1
The Omegas are alright, but i`d pick the Official ones over the Omegas anyday.

I would pick the Omega over the officials.
My 9800pro is my first ATI gpu and I was wondering the same thing with you 4-5 months ago.
I was afraid of "trusting" an unofficial driver(though I did it many times with Nvidia)
Since I tested Omega I would not go back to officials, unless there's a serious reason of course (I'm not fanatic or prejudiced...).
