Which case?

So, I'll be buying a case for my new computer in a week or so. Until today, I was planning on getting an Aspire X-Plorer. But today I looked on xoxide.com and I really liked the Xoxide X-Ventilator.

So, I'm stumped. The price isn't that much of problem, but I'm not about to splurge on a Lian Li. The drive door on the X-Plorer won't bother me either.

Any points of interest I should note before I buy?

Check the nearby Rosewill thread. Any one of those is a better case intrinsically than either of those - the kingwin 523 which is like the CM Centurion series inside has a bit more bling and about the same level of casitude as the Rosewills - just lacks the HDD vibe isolators.

Okay, I just used the top of my current computer as a place to put my drink. So, I'm thinking that the case with the blowhole would not be a wise choice. :p

I dunno...

I was talking to a guy, the other night (locally), and he's got a small up-start computer business -- five employees, blah, blah -- and they make their own cases. He swears blowholes are the way to go!

Your call! Do what you want... let 'us' know how it works out...

Hey hold it... wait a minute... Flash! How could I have forgot this?

There's your answer!

I use mine to put my wallet, CDs and my feet (when the computer is under my desk). Having a blowhole would mean I get feet cooled but I'm not risking the Dew going into the computer.

How many Amps does the lighter pull?

X-ventilator - good design  - lets all the dust in and all the noise out...
