Both cases are on sale today, and I need a new case. I just wondered, if you has the choice, which one would you get?

It looks like the ultra dragon is a rebranded chieftec, with glossy paint. In a review of it, they found chieftec stamped on it.
Is it a rebranded chieftec?
 
If you'd link to a pic, perhaps we could tell you whether it's like the Chieftec. Actually all of the Dragon style cases from the Antec 800/1000 series on have been made by Chenming. They are sold under lots of other names. Aspire even sells the Dragon case along with the X Dreamers
. I would say the Dragon style case is made better than the X Dreamers.

I have a chieftec dragon, it's a nice solid case. mine is aluminum with side window.ditch the standard fans that come with it, they're very noisy. I recently went with a smaller case, but the Chieftec was a fine case. That particular case is sold under many brand names.
 
Thanks, I guess I will go with the ultra dragon. It's cheaper. 😛
I sure hope TDs rebates work better now that they have that guarentee...
 
Oh no - NOT Tiger Direct... You do realize that Ultra is a TD house brand, do you not??? The PSU the put in there if any will be CRAP. Oh, fudge - looks like good ol' TD (total disaster) has had someone rip off the appearance of the Chenming case - That is NOT the Chenming case! ALL of the variants of the Chenming case have removable HD cages, rail mounts for the optical bays and a mechanical latch on the left side panel kind of like a car door handle. That case has NONE. TD strikes (out) again...
. Ooops, it's the Wizard case that is the chintzy one - the one that says Dragon in the text with the X-Connect PSU (which is "crap that glows", by the way) appears to be real with the proper features (lever handle, removable HD cages, etc.).

I have notified TD that if they continue to use the Dragon name on that ripoff case, I'll file a fraud complaint with the FTC. I may just file anyway - I'm tired of their crap!

Sorry, it's the "Wizard" case that is the attempted fake.
