I'm not a big fan of those Lian Li ones. The whole upside down mobo is a bit too gimmicky for me.
I haven't found a perfect case yet, but instead of making my own I just bought the kingwin 424. It's close enough for now.
I'd like:
1X 120mm intake
1X 120mm exhaust (both with low restriction grilles)
2X USB, 1X 1394 front ports with mobo headers (no pass thru cables)
NO FONT DRIVE COVER (this is what has made it practically impossible to find the "perfect" case)
HDD Mount grommets
Thumbscrews for everything (no plastic clips)
Understated Looks (no devil horns, lights, windows, LCD displays, etc)
So far, I like the following cases:
Coolermaster Centurion 5
Silverstone TJ02 and TJ04
Compucase LX-6a19/Antec 3700
Kingwin 424
The Antec P160 is very close to perfect, but it has all kinds of platic junk on the bezel that makes it feel very cheap. Also the top pivoting USB ports were broken on all the ones I saw. If they had that case with a plain silver or black bezel, then I'd probably have bought that instead of the Kingwin. We'll see how the kingwin does though.
