Aspire. I built a friend a PC using an Aspire case (blue color) which turned out well. no need for matching black drives. it comes with 2 case color matching slots that sit in front of the drives.
 
Unless you already have a good power supply, get the Sonata. The Sonata comes with a reliable Antec PS instead of some generic PS that will explode, killing your entire family.

no joke, my roomate had to RMA his mobo twice cuz of a POS PSU he bought from ebay (i tried my best to talk him out of it but he just did it and got what he deserved 🙁) besides, sooner or later you gonna want something quiter, lights get old pretty fast. sonata or BQE3700 or whatever its called... they are known to be ultra quite and sport quality antec PSUs. i love my aria 😀
 
Someone just posted about how their Aspire case came all dented and such due to cheap, flimsy materials and cheap packaging. You get what you pay for, especially so with cases & power supplies. The difference between a good case and a bad one is night and day. If you do go with a cheap one though, by all means post pics of your bandaged & bleeding hands after you build 😀 I'd recommend an Antec of just about any flavor.
 
They're both computer rice, ugly as sin.

Get something sleek and stylish, like a SFF pc or a gMono case. That Sonata case was a good reccomendation also. Those lights and windows aren't going to impress anyone.
 
I used the Raidmax one on my first build and it is actually a pretty nice case. You can put up to 7 fans, but don't need to. The guality is good, except for how the door hinges. Its got a nice mirror finish paint job.

However, I would suggest the Sonata over it. The Raidmax is an older design, and you'll need to get a different PSU. The one that comes with it works, at least mine did, but it isn't very good.
 
Time to go all aluminum. Get the Cooler Master Praetorian or a kingwin case such as the 424. Damn right skippy. I just bought a Praetorian and that thing kicks ass. quiet for having 4 case fans and is cool to the touch (except on top where I am overclocking a 2500+ barton @2.3ghz @45c).

IMO, if it's not CoolerMaster or Lian-Li, it's not worth the money 😉
 
The Sonata is worth the extra money just for it's unassuming plain appearance. Although I hate doors covering the drive bays.

the door thing is why I got rid of my Sonata. it's annoying with the door closed, and ugly with the door open (due to the 2" of open space between the drive and the rest of the case).
