I am building a new rig with DS3, e6400, Tuniq Tower, 8800gts, 2gig ocz ram, and Corsair 520 psu. Which case do you think I should go with?

Antec 900- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811129021

Lian Li-PC60B Plus2- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811112116

Thermal Take Armor VA8000BWS- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811133154

Once I decide on the case, I will likely search around the web and find the best shipped price, so the egg links are simply for comparison. Any other cases to fit my gear in the $100-$150 range?

You can also consider P180 which is on sale 80 AR at frys.com. check the hot deal forum for this.

Antec 900 is going to be cramped no matter how big the case looks in pictarz. Get as big of a case as you can afford without sacrificing quality because that 8800GTS is pretty long (GTX is longer AFAIK).

have watercooling in mind? Armor
Want massive component space? Armor
Want a really well built case, thats actually made out of steel and not Alu. Armor

Decide on staying with AIR:
P900

LL <--- blah... i dont like bottom line LL's Its not worth it in design and quality of there V1000 and V2000 series. Actually you'd have to be a serious LL lover to buy one and not be a V1000 or V2000 series.

Armor on the right
You couldnt cram all this stuff in any of the other cases you listed!.

thats about the biggest mess of water cooling cables i've ever seen.....lol, yeah it looks pretty large. my next case personally is going to be the largest lian li case they make, either the 2000 series, or the server tower type. but those are very expensive. whats wrong with aluminum cases? lian li makes very nice ones, i have the pc1000 myself, and i havent had a single problem with it except where manufactuers decie to put the ide hookups on occasion. given this case is a mid tower its pretty large compaired to others i've seen.

what makes the LL so strong is the thick side pannels.

If you took one apart completely, its not something u would want to sit on unless you had the side pannels support it.

My mess of water tubing gives me these temps on load :p

hence why it looks so complicated

I ordered the TT Armor. I also picked up a Titan Amanda TEC cooler to try. Will be interesting to see how it compares to the Tuniq Tower.

aluminum > steel, strong & light at the same time.

its like compareing Honda's to Fords, Quality should always come first.
OP: remember, you always get what you pay for. i wouldn't sacrifice quality for some extra fans/5.25bays. u can always change the fans to more powerful ones...
