Which video cards actually require 8x AGP in order to effectively run at full speed? I want to know the best card my computer with 4x AGP can support before bottlenecking becomes an issue.
Current low budget cards (FX5200) are severely restricted by 2x AGP (I did some testing). With that in mind I was thinking maybe the higher end cards would be bottlenecked at 4x AGP. After all, an ATI 9800 is like more than 3x as fast as a GeForce FX5200.
