i can spend up to 275 on a vid card, and i was wondering what i could get...i plan on playing mostly FPS games, is the radeon le fast enough to play ut and quake 3 at 1024x768 32bit...even though i have that much money, the cheaper the card the better...so, should i go 32 meg gts, 64 meg pro 32 meg mx, 32 meg le, or 64 meg radeon ddr

What is your current setup right now??? cpu, memory, motherboard. My LE is fast enough to play UT and Quake3 at the settings that you mentioned.

If you want to go cheap, get the LE. It will play the games you listed at the res you listed just fine (minor tweaking to remove LE's limitations required). This is assuming the rest of your system is up to snuff.

If you want to spend more, skip any other 32 meg cards. They cost more and will give you little, if any improvement over the LE. Go right to a 64 meg card. They will have a performance improvement with the extra texture memory, especially in newer games. They also generally are clocked higher, and have better quality ram. The Radeon 64 DDR (retail) and GF2/Pro 64 meg cards are great choices.
