Which card would you guys recommend for someone that games in the 1024 range?

I'm thinking 6600gt? Perhaps the 6800? Is the 6800GT overkill? Or would the 6800GT be suitable for one that likes to crank up the AA and AF @ 1024?

6800GT definitely, especially for BF2 if you wanna play that resolution on all high.
 
I game at 1280x1024 with a 6800 and I can play any game at High Quality with just a few things turned down (like AA). I play Doom3 & HL2. A GT, would of course allow for more eye candy.

Try to pull that off in F.E.A.R/BF2...but then again..one person may consider 30 fps playable while another won't. I consider 60+ fps playable 😛
