which card to keep?

Aharami

Lifer
on monday 8/9, i order this graphics card from buy.com (more info on card here)

by 8/12 they still hadnt shipped it and after checking resellerratings.com on buy.com, i called them up. the CSR had no clue when my card will be shipped and told me it was on backorder (funny cuz they still had it listed as in stock on 8/12). she said could be anywhere to from 1 day to 1 week.

so instead of waiting with uncertainty, i cancelled the order on their website and ordered this card from outpost.com. outpost shipped it and now its waiting at the local DHL facility for me to go pick it up (had them hold it since i wont be home).

now here's the problem. i just checked buy.com acct and my xfx card was shipped after i cancelled it (what morons) and will arrive on 8/16. now my problem lies in which card to send back (refuse shipment)

XFX card (buy.com) was $275 shipped
Leadtek card (outpost.com) was $302 shipped

Leadtek i will have today
XFX i will have monday

XFX claims their core is 400 MHz
Leadtek's somewhere between 325-350 MHz

i have half a mind to send back buy.com's card because of their shady business practices...but I have no clue which card is a better performer. thats why im asking you guys...which do you think i should keep?
lets say, either way, i lose the cost of shipping (~$12)

more info on XFX
more info on Leadtek

They both suck AZZZZ and have bad warranties...

Try this one: http://www.bfgtech.com/6800GTOC.html (or the non-GT BFG)

Lifetime warranty, faster, better support.

I love how on XFX site, they couldn't be anymore "Vague" with their warranty:

"Product warranty varies depending on Geographical region. For details warranty information for this product please contact the Pine branch in your area."

In otherwords, depending on your state, if we can screw you, will will. Then of course, we have BFG's warranty:

"BFG Tech Lifetime Warranty" Its as simple as that.

dont trust those #s for the xfx. the description from buy.com also says it has 256DDR3. thats highly unlikely for a 277$ card. the 400 clock is for the ramdacs, not the core. check the reviews of the card on newegg. its listed as 400mhz core there also, but the people whove ordered say its really only 325, the normal specs for the 6800 vanilla.

yea im probably going to return buy.com's card just out of spite. not putting my money into them and their shady business

the only reason i didnt go BFG is cuz i already have farcry. also cuz BFGs are more $$$

Lifetime warranty means squat. Are you going to be playing DOOM18 on a 6800 in 30 years? I think not.

Stick with the LeadTek, you get the better bundle.
