I have just gotten 1 of each off of Ubid for a really good price. They are both Visiontek cards.

Which one should I keep and install in my system?

System is a Gateway PIII 450 with 320MB of ram

I read in the reviews here that the 32MB card actually can outperform the 64MB card in a lot of instances....

I usually play online games, Action Half Life, Kingpin, Day of Defeat etc.......

Whichever one it is will be replacing a GEforce2 MX 32MB card

Thanks for any advice :)

That's total BS. The 64mb will be much better off to keep. If you play at 800x600 or 640x480 then keep the 32MB. And there is something about Visiontek Geforce 2 GTS is that the 64mb sometimes have 5.5 ns memory(183Mhz) whereas the 32mb has 6ns memory(166Mhz)

That VT GF2 32 meg is a GTS-V. Ubid doesn't advertise it as such, but it is. If you check, you will see it has a 175/286 core/mem speed. I'm not sure what the 64 meg card is.

So.......will I see a noticable difference between either card given my system?

My gut feeling is I won't. I can get my money back for the 32MB card(friend will buy it for what I paid) but I'm not sure if I could recoup all my $$ for the 64MB card.

What would you guys do if you had your choice of cards?

If I was in that situation.. I'd try to sell the two cards for as much as possible.. and put those funds toward a Geforce 3 Ti 200 :)

The 64 MB GTS will be slightly faster than the 32 MB one especially if the 32 MB is the slower GTS-V.
