Which card to get ? 8800GT or 2600XT 512mb

I will use the video card for a 42" HDTV running at 1920x1080 as a monitor,
I know the 8800gt a better card, but it is for 100 more.
I am not an intense gamer, but i do some gaming.
and for the 2600xt, it has HDMI output, which is good for using TV as monitor.

please give me some advice.

I would not bother with the Radeon unless gaming is your lowest priority. If you have the notes then buy the 8800GT. You can buy a DVI to HDMI cable too if you want a digital signal.
