Which card to buy

Hi,

I want to buy a graphic card.
I have a budget of around 150 $ -225$
There is a card available in newegg of gainward geforce fx 5900 ultra 1100 with a non ultra nvidia chip

Radeon 9600 pro is available for 170 $
I would like to know your views for which card i shud buy
I will be mainly using this card for playing games

If you have any other recommendations i would be honoured to have them

look for threads w/ 5900 in them.

then search for ones w/ 9600 in them.



Looky what I found, pages of 5900nu vs. 9600pro, and it was only located 3 threads below yours. Man these boards are great.

At the price difference you site I would go with the 5900nu or touch your budget up to a 9800np.

I have the same dilema as you but the price for the 9600pro was $129 so the price difference is much greater. Good luck with your decision.

get a good 4200 they kick ass for a great price, at least mine does, since i bought it at 120 it went to 150 hah i win

yup, you may even be able to squeeze in a 9800 np

for 230$ i would go with the 5900nu. aquamark scores are better with 5900 vs 9600. if you can afford the extra $ get a 9800pro. but for 200-250$ the 5900$ is king
