Going to be downloading the whole cloud initiative. If not then it would be Cs6

Sorry for the dlay in answering. Time zones suck. ;)

According to AMD, Adobe CC is supposed to have a lot of OpenCL GPU accelerated features that are compatible with AMD APU's and GPU's. Adobe appears to really be going all in on OpenCL.

Chose the Gtx 680. Had a chance to trade it with a forum member. :)

If it doesn't work out I am sure I will be able to find someone to trade back

Depends on the version of Photoshop. Mine in Photoshop CS5.5 which can use advanced gpu processing power with regards to OpenGl inside photoshop. At a guess with the 680 using only 2gb of vram comparted to 7970 using 3gb of ram, you are probably better of with using a 7970 if it is explicitly for Photoshop.

Yea let me give the the GTX 680 a shot. This for someone who is just starting out in Photoshop so GTX 680 should work.

Additionally this machine will be 100% watercooled and the 7970 that I had wasn't so had to get a reference card.

Thanks for all the input guys/gals!
