Which video card is better, I plan on watching movies, internet, email, games and streaming? 256MB NVIDA® GeForce? Go 6800 or ATI Mobility Radeon 9700 128MB Graphic Chip (M11) Video ? Also if one card says 256mb as opposed to 128mb does that automatically make it the better one? Thank you.

No, but it has more video RAM (bandwidth). Though the bus or whatever might actually be slower on a 256MB version. In general, though, it's good at higher resolutions and quality settings.

Video/Texture memory has nothing to do with bandwidth. AKAIK both cards run off of a 256bit Memory Bus.

The 256mb probably wont be slower on a card of that caliber but generally when manf. increase memory they use slower memory for more stability and lower cost.

geforce.. if you want an ati, get the x800 mobility, but honestly, for what you described, and mobility 9550/9600 is more than good enough (and the 9700 is better overall).

as for memory, you won't really notice a diff between 128 and 256; the latter will handle larger textures in games a bit better, but again, for what you describe, you'll see little if any difference.
