Which card for $150

Which video cards should I be considering if I want to spend $150? I'm looking for AGP and it's for playing games.

How about a Radeon X800 GTO^2? Everyone I've seen who's gotten one has been able to unlock the extra 4 pipes for a total of 16 pipes using a BIOS flash. They may be hard to get, though, at the moment as they're flying off shelves.🙂

It also depends on what kind of system you're working with. Some AGP boards are flakey with the newer AGP cards. Also what kind of cpu you're working with. Wouldn't make sense to buy an $150 AGP card that has to wait on your CPU to keep it fed for performance.

If you look around in the FS/FT forums, you can find X800 AGP cards in there for around $125.

Could keep your eye open on http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/ProductDe...jsp?ProductCode=323278&affiliate=yahoo if it ever returns back to stock.
