Obviously I would go with the viper just so I can sell it, buy that vette and save 80k. But if I had to choose one to drive it would definitely be the Vette. The viper looks cooler but I like the fact that the vette looks stock almost. That lamborghini that pulls up next to you wouldn't even know that you could smoke him 🙂

First off if you could get the viper free that would work.

There are quite a few Lambos here in Palm Beach County, but usually a crusty guy driving 10 mph below the limit.

Actually, because the vette has a twin turbon on a V8, it gets about 30mpg highway...

little less for the viper because it's a bigger block, and it's a v10 but around the same...turbo's help with gas mileage a ton

Huh???? I don't think the lingenfelter gets 30mpg highway either, a vette is about mid 20's (using the gears properly) highway and mid teens city (using the gears properly)....no way you are adding more power and sucking in more air/fuel and getting better mileage unless there is a cold fusion generator under the hood.

I am hoping that was sarcastic.

That was not sarcasm...Because the turbo adds more air to each explosion (with no added gas and with no energy required to turn the turbine) it causes the explosion to be bigger and less gas wasted. A twin turbo on that 427 V8 will bring the mileage to about 30 mpg highway.
