Which car would you rather have?

Here are the links for the specs on each car...however, if you go to lingenfelter's site it will show a dyno for that vette showing 1038hp to the rear wheels. But based on these specs, which one would you take?

Viper Venom 1000

or

Lingenfelter Twin Turbo Corvette



Obviously I would go with the viper just so I can sell it, buy that vette and save 80k. But if I had to choose one to drive it would definitely be the Vette. The viper looks cooler but I like the fact that the vette looks stock almost. That lamborghini that pulls up next to you wouldn't even know that you could smoke him 🙂
 
You gotta love the 345mm wide tires. 🙂

And I pick the Corvette because of handling. The Viper is routinely spun without even upping the stock power.

Haha, I know... only problem is, they cost a billion dollars a piece...and if I had that car, I'd be replacing them daily 🙂
 
I'd go for the Viper.

One thing I noticed was that while the front end was awesome looking, the rear end of that car still looks like a dodge. Kinda disappointing that they haven't come up with something better by now. 🙁

Reminds me of the GM auto show in motion. With the Z06, they were replacing them multiple times a day.

BTW, I slightly lost control and ran over their timing equipment with the Z06. It was ok though...

Yeah, they look straight off of a dodge stratus or some other lame dodge.

That was a stock Viper in and old Motor Trend test. It hit 198 and then the radiator busted or something.
 
yeah, I'm pretty sure that viper is designed to handle more than 200 mph.

Either way, no doubt in my mind that I would choose the vette in a heartbeat. You guys are crazy for wanting that dodge piece of junk 😛
 
I'd choose the Vette. It would be easier to drive "normally", handles better, even though it only has 750 horsepower.
