Price being of no concern. Meaning, you can't take a McLaren F1, sell it for a million, and buy a couple of the other cars that you'd want.

2004 Ford Mustang Mach 1
2000 Ford Mustang Cobra R
2005 Ford GT
Jaguar XKR Coupe
Ferrari Enzo
Ferrari 360 F1 Modena Spider
2003 Chevy Corvette ZO6
Lamborghini Diablo VT
McLaren F1
2004 Porsche 911 Tubo Cabrio
Landrover D90
Porsche GT2
1967 Shelby Cobra
Porsche GT1

*EDIT* Just to be clear... chose the one you'd have the most fun cruising around in... driving to work every day... not just tell people you own and not necessarily the fastest or most powerful or best handling, unless that would make it the most fun to you.

**EDIT** For the record, I voted for the 2005 Ford GT

My car poll blew yours away. It grouped the cars into appropriate categories. Anyone with any sense would take the McLaren, sell it for a cool Mil, and buy all the rest of those cars.

For liking the car itself, I chose the Jag. It's fast, and it's got Jag sex appeal.

You didn't even read it did you?

*EDIT* BTW... I wasn't trying to compete with other car threads...

I guess not. My poll is still better than yours though. Aside from it didn't have pics. But who cares about the opinion of people who don't even know what the cars look like?

my reasoning for choosing the mclaren...

other than being ridiculously fast, and comparable in speed to anything there (based on specs, obv i have no real world experience with any of those cars), it has room for 3 people, a true manual transmission, more exclusivity than anything up there, plus its discontinued.

and its been my dream ever since i heard of it.

Might as well add a Subaru WRX and an Lancer Evolution. Don't forget a BMW M3!

When someone wants to vote for each of those I'll ad them... but I'm not going to hunt down pictures for every anal person in ATOT.

Are you talking the new Ford GT, or the old GT40?

Either one. I thought the new one was also called a GT40.

As long as it's around 40 inches tall and has GT in the name ;)

I'd choose the mclaren F1 LM, though I'd never be able to afford even driving it. Clutches require changing every 3000 miles, and it costs about $12-15k.

This being said, if the Porsche GT1 was available, I'd be tempted to take that over the McLaren.
