ok sorry. i voted.

the rsx is just a clear choice, if not only on the merit of it being 2 years newer than your closest substitute, then definitely on a number of other things it offers over the other cars.

I am surprised to see a Diamond member thread-crapping:)
Anyhow, I would say the Acura is the best because it is the newest and it is probably the fastest and "sportiest", but I think the Honda Accord is the best buy...it is one of the most stable and trustworthy cars on the market.
Gosh...19 and getting you first car...lucky! I just got my first car when I was 23 (last year). Hey, at least you are paying for it...kudos...likewise here. Believe me, it feels good to know you are financially independent.
Good luck,
Elias

I don't get it - you're selling your 01 Accord sedan for possibly an 00 Accord couple? That makes no sense. It's hardly any "sportier" than the sedan.

all three of those cars are high rate insurance cars. But it's my guess the RSX would be the cheapest to insure.

If you get the 98-00 accord coupe, i'd rather have a 5spd 4cyl than the problamatic auto V6.

If you get the 97+ prelude, I'd go for the non-sh and get a quaife limited slip differential instead of the complex electronic ATTS system. The ATTS is a great concept and performs well, it's just that if it goes, it gets expensive to fix. Also, do NOT get the auto on the prelude; very expensive to fix and there are problems witht the sportshift on the auto.

I'm partial to the prelude, so i'd go with a non-sh 5spd manual.
