Looking for a new car. So many to choose from. I mainly want a Dealership that will provide the best service.

Who do you think provides better service?

Currently I own a Nissan in Toronto. 1 Dealship is real bad, another is ok, but not anything great. Thus I won't buy another Nissan.

Psycho and I bought our vehicles from a star Ford dealership and they have bent over backwards to accomodate every request. Awesome service...we will go back to them!

I don't think that there really is a correct answer to that question. It totally depends upon the dealers in your area. I've been to good Ford Dealers, and I've been to bad Ford Dealers.

I've been to a Chevrolet dealer that had known my family for years and treated us like kings when we came in.

Judging soley on the car itself, and the warranty that comes with it, It's hard to pass up Audi's 4 year/50,000 mile warranty with 4 years of maintance free visits. The only things you pay for in the first 4 years/50,000 miles are tires and breaks. Everything else - oil changes, wiper blades, transmission, tire rotation, ect is paid for.

My Acura dealer is pretty cool about things. Free handwash and vaccum everytime I go there. But that is mainly because it is a Acura-Audi-Porsche dealer. And the latter two customers are kinda uptight about those kinda things. HEE HEE

When I had a Honda Prelude a couple of the dealers took really good care of the car since it wasn't very common when I got it. One time, the mechanics gave it a real good tune up. They must have liked the car. I'd say there are some pretty good Honda dealers out there.

Similar to Bobby's experience, my Acura dealer is also very accomodating -- hand wash, vacuum, etc., and they'll hound your ass with courtesy calls after every visit. This particular dealer also sells Mazdas, as opposed to Porsches and Audis, but the service sounds comparable.

Maybe those Porsche and Audi owners are actually benefiting from the association of the Acura dealership ;)

I agree with vi_edit, it can vary wildly from dealer to dealer.
I, for one, choose a car based on the merits of the car more than those of the dealer because even if your local dealer sucks or is fantastic, you might end up moving or a dealership might close down or whatever.
