Which Canon Powershot camera should I get? The A85 or the SD200?

I personally would go for the A85 but it depends on what is important to you. A85 is much bulkier but has the Digic processor and will produce near-professional quality pictures. While the SD200 is much more portable and everyday point/shoot style.

i thought they all had digic... well, the sd200 has digic II... heh. If you don't need manual controls, and want portability, get the sd200. I'm getting that... altho, it'd be nice if it were in the sd300 body. I don't like the ripples very much.

SD200 is a decent point and shoot camera for taking pictures of your friends. It is not so great in low-light situations either. If you want to take real pictures get the A85 or look at some other cameras. The FZ20 or whatever, the latest one, by Panasonic is my fave for $500 and under cams.

If the SD200 has Digic II, wouldn't it be better than DIGIC?

The FZ20 is too expensive. :( And it's 500. That's twice as much as my budget!

Yeah, I think that this is my next camera.

Do you think the price will come down anytime soon, or would the camera+256MB card+shipping for $330 be a good price now?

$330 for an A95 AND memory is a pretty dang good price. The A95 replaced the A80 and I paid $399 (not including tax) for my A80 and that was with no memory. :( But I LOVE my A80. If you can spring for an A95 at $330, I'd jump on it. A better deal may come along, but I doubt it will be much lower than $330 any time soon.
