The progressive candidate not in the election.
Obama is better than the Republicans, though.
Your mainstream and status quo candidate in bed with the very financial firms you loath is better then Ron Paul? LoL@U
And insurance, hosp, pharma - basically anyone that has massive cash to keep ponzi financial system going. Has to be that way if you want any traction though and why RP is dismissed as a joke by mainstream media and elite inside the beltway pundits on those shows. It's also why he has hardly any cash comparatively. I read Obama will get over 1 billion this cycle and it's not from people buying $20 obama T shirts either.
Presidential candidates with the most money win 96% of the time.
Last elections 93% of the house and 94% of the Senate.
This needs to change.
I like the above mention for a shout out to Ross Perot.
From 1992 Presidential Debat http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2OKYVH2Gaec
Hind sight is 20/20, but I can't help but indulge in the idea of what may have been if Ross Perot was elected.
Middle class is in a catch 22 as has been described by the other posts in this thread, we would need a paradigm shift in government in order to see the middle class be legitimately represented.
I'm left with no candidates to now vote for.....
I'll start a new search before election and if I can't find anyone, I might just write Ross Perot in as he was the most correct of them all....
The final straw for me was Obama saying he's not going to actively deport illegals unless they have criminal records. Both parties seem to want to turn the US into a third world country. It's amazing.
Normally third parties have no shot, but this may be one of those rare periods in history when there's a chance. Someone really needs to jump in here and plenty of people will be willing to vote for him/her.
They still have no shot. No matter how much people say that they are not going to vote for "their" guy, they almost always do. I'll waste my vote but I won't feel bad about the next asshole in the offices sending the majority (99%) of us down the drain.
