We have this 8 year old automatic one that's mounted under a cabinet. It works pretty well, helluva lot easier than using a manual opener.

On a side note.

Several years back a friend of mine was fishing with a friend of HIS. He was getting ready to go down to the stream and his friend that was staying at camp asked to borrow his can opener. He tossed him one of these. When he got back, his buddy had taken a Axe to the can because he couldn't figure out the P38. 😉

I still have the P38 that I was issued in Marine Corps Boot Camp back in 1971. 🙂

I have one of these from IKEA for 3 bucks. IKEA Can Opener

Works great and gives you the sharp cut, so you can reuse the can for other things.
