which camera is better?

All I can say is look at the cdrom stack. You can see it better with the canon. I would have voted Canon anyway....without even seeing the pics.
 
Instead of judging IQ with pictures using the built-in flash, either use natural light or turn up the ISO on that F10. All I see is overblown highlights everywhere.
