Getting a camcorder that is easy to use at my sister's wedding.
Any suggestion?

Digital I presume? Don't know much, but be weary of advice received here, there are quite a few Canonites.

I think it really depends on your budget. I know there are a lot of rave reviews for Sony VX-2100 but its $2400. I think the important thing is to look at how well the video shoots in low light (assuming you will be recording in a poorly lit church and/or reception)

Canon MV600/650. Small, cheap, digital, good quality, pretty neat features.

To edit & encode: Adobe Premiere or Pinnacle Studio if you want a simpler less expensive option.

Actually, don't. Just tried to fire it up last night and the thing is broken: does not pick anything up with it's sensor so all I get is a black screen. Warrant ran out 4 months ago. Not impressed.

I've got a Samsung SD-103 and have been very impressed with it. Good microphone pickup, nice lighting, and has the fun night vision bonus. Still, I wish I would have gone with the SD-107, as the 103 only has a memory stick slot, as opposed to a SD slot on the 107.
