I think it really depends on your budget. I know there are a lot of rave reviews for Sony VX-2100 but its $2400. I think the important thing is to look at how well the video shoots in low light (assuming you will be recording in a poorly lit church and/or reception)
Actually, don't. Just tried to fire it up last night and the thing is broken: does not pick anything up with it's sensor so all I get is a black screen. Warrant ran out 4 months ago. Not impressed.
I've got a Samsung SD-103 and have been very impressed with it. Good microphone pickup, nice lighting, and has the fun night vision bonus. Still, I wish I would have gone with the SD-107, as the 103 only has a memory stick slot, as opposed to a SD slot on the 107.
