which cable can i hook my ps3 up to my dell 2405fpw?

Hello all, just wondering which cable that is cheap can hook up my ps3 to my dell 2405fpw? I need a hdmi to dvi cable if that works cause my monitor doesnt have hdmi. I was curious as to how I would also plug my speakers into my ps3 so i can hear sound. I have a pair of logitech z5300e's and want to hook these speakers in with my ps3 so i can experience surround sound. These are pc speakers but they work well with my ps2 but i use composite cables to work around that. I just dont know what my speakers would hook up to on the ps3.

Also will i lose alot of visual quality hooking my radeon 1900xt to my dell 2405fpw via vga? I dont feel like unplugging the dvi connections when switching from pc to ps3.

which cable would i need from the list though?

What is AWG? They are different, one has 22, one has 24 and so on and so forth. What AWG would i need? Would I lose visual quality on the ps3 or just using my pc?

Is there a way I can hook up both dvi cables together on the dell and switch which one to use such as what they do with a hdmi switch?
