Which BX mobo should I get, Abit BE6 2, Asus CUBX, or the Microstar BXmaster?

The BX Master is an AnandTech Editor's Choice - the others are not, although they aren't that bad either.

What is the best place to buy the BX Master? I don't necessarily mean cheapest.

I like the CUBX myself, but there is nothing wrong with any of your choices.

I have a CUBX and am not satisfied with it's performance. I have a C2 566 that won't do 850 in this board, yet I have placed the CPU in a friend's board and it does 850 stable.

Getting the new Abit BX-133 board soon. That one kicks azzzz...

Worth looking into.

I'd warn against that Abit BX133, mine never successfully booted windows, and has a lot of trouble just posting and getting through the bios. Consider the new Soyo board also, BX Boards liked it a lot. The CUBX doesn't have enough bus speeds in my opinion.

I'd say go w/ an Asus 815 mobo. The Asus Cubx is super fast, but you
have to have a video card that can handle an 89mhz agp. see my specs.

running a p3-700 at 933 at 1.65v. I did have to get an Alpha w/ some
artic silver compound.

My cpu temp was 58C/136F at idle, now it's down to 87F idle.
