if you wait a couple days for the price to drop, the radeon 9500 128MB is about $154 right now on pricewatch

edit: that' $154 shipped FedEx 3 Day Insured

I wouldn't call $150 "budget" card. :(
But Radeon 8500LE/8500, 9100 cost of half your budget.

Or 9500 for around $150.

I'm gonna vote for the 9000Pro, u can find it in Circuit City reeeel cheeeep cheeeep, a lil' bird told me so!

times are changing as well as games,
150.00 is less than half of the best cards and may well be the budget cards of today
sure there are options for a hundred or even less but would you want one in your rig?

i'd steer clear of the gf4mx and ati 9000 also off my list would be the gf3 series

unless my cpu couldn't make use of the added benifit of a better card,i too would look at the 9500 pro
the ti4200 would be bare minimum as well as the ati 8500.
the advances in quality and performance are leaps and bounds better in the higher prices cards.
