Which brand to buy - 7800 gtx

Hey, I was wondering which manufacturer should I buy the 7800gtx from. I can get the following brands here at 'reasonable' prices - Legend, Galaxytech, Sparkle, Pixelview, MSI, ELSA and Albatron. Should I be avoiding any of these brands or do any stand out from a positive perspective??
The prices are from this website - http://www.pricespy.co.nz/pno_6271.html
Thanks

Yea, I cant get the EVGA branded 7800gtx here, and the BFG card is $300 more than the legend card. Does anyone know if Legend are good cards?? Or would I be better off spending the extra $40 on a Sparkle, the extra $110 on the MSI or the extra $140 on the Albatron???
Thanks

I would say MSI or Albatron since I haven't heard of any of the rest of them. BFG and EVGA are the best, though. However, I have heard that nVidia is actually building all these cards, or making very exact specifications, so the only difference between brands is the factory overclock, the warranty and the design of the cooler (and most just pick the reference one and slap their own sticker on it). If that's true then you'll be OK with any of them.

what do u mean reasonable price?? all the cards there are from $700-$1200....hopefully thats not in USD.....

Nah, its not in US dollars lodmdma 🙂, its in New Zealand dollars, but still expensive 🙁

So basically the only differences should be the software bundles (in which i only know the MSI bundle) and the warranties of each card - as they are all clocked the same and all have the reference cooler??

MSI VGA Products are warranted for 3 year limited warranty, 2 years Parts & Labor, and the third Year Parts only, I think MSI is far better if you don't need just a lifetime warranty.

No, they're not all clocked the same. EVGA and BFG are clocked higher and perform slightly better, for instance. Now, you can certainly overclock any other card to the same speeds and you'll probably be successful, however, doing so voids your warranty, whereas with factory overclocked cards the warranty covers that overclock.

The only 7800GTX I've seen with a different cooler is a Dell OEM one. Doubtless Leadtek will come out with a better one too, they usually do.

EvGA/XFX/BFG made best 7800gtx.. they are quite expensive.. if you want cheaper one.. try leadtek or msi

Asus Extreme N7800GTX/TOP/2DHTV 😉 Now thats a kickass card 😀

Looks like its MSI, since EVGA and BFG are out of my reach - since I only want to buy from companies in my area. Thanks for all the help 🙂
