Kohl's stuff, GAP, and Old Navy.
Jcrew and BR are too preppy/metro for me. Abercrombie+AE are way too juvenile. I hate how they purposefully wrinkle and damage their goods to make them look worn.

I wouldn't be caught dead wearing any of those. Sorry.

Edit: I didn't see Kohl's. Their stuff is alright.

Edit 2: Well you keep adding people, so the poll is worthless because you ruined the original votes. Dumb.

Hilfiger and Nautica. They last forever, hold their color and look good to boot.

I like kohl's a lot, but some of their stuff really wears out fast and isn't very good quality.

-edit-
all the brands you listed are sort of for teenagers.

I eschew visible branding and have no desire for any brand except perchance it equates to acceptable quality. Even internal labels (esp. shirts) are usually removed in the interest of comfort. So frankly I'd rather they were unbranded to begin with.

I bought all my work jeans at Costco for many years...$12.99/pair...when you wear them out/tear them up as fast as I always did. no sense in dropping $30+ on a pair of Levis. (plus I've boycotted Levi products for over 15 years)

Yeah, they have good deals there.

Lately though, they seem to be carrying larger sizes only :(. My girth has not been keeping up with that of the average American. I noticed that with the shirts too this weekend, only L, XL, XXL. I guess I need to pack on the pounds :).

For jeans, Levis. Shirts, don't matter. I usually just wear t-shirts anyway, usually band or beer t-shirts.

Then I need to go back to get some that will fit my "broad-bod"...heh-heh! I don't work construction any longer, so I really don't need any of their jeans. My favorite jeans come from Land's End. A bit more on the price, but well made, comfortable, and have the various options of "regular fit, relaxed fit, and loose fit...

The ONLY bad thing about buying Land's End stuff is that they are owned by K-Mart...(so is Sears, and I avoid all their stuff nowadays as well)

Seems like the quality of products in both stores is dropping since they were bought out by K-Mart.

IZOD has by far the best shirts imo, they are alot more comfortable than the other polo shirt makers and look better too.

Hollister. Their style is that of mine.

I suppose I should have picked Abercrombie for them being owned by the same company, but the retailer I chose was American Eagle.
