Just bought a puppy and I bought the food that the store was feeding him. I am trying to get him to eat dry food as supposed to mixing it in with the can version. However, he seems to be a picky eater, so I may be forced to use the "wet" food. Anyways, I'm currently feeding my 3 month old puppy Nutro. My friend told me about Innova, since it's ALL natural but not many stores carry them.

I started with purina puppy chow but we are moving to dog food once this bag is over.

He was asking about DOG food.

Cats are useless. See here.

I don't have a dog but I wanted to contribute and Iams was an option in the poll. My cats aren't useless they eat spiders and sh1t that get in my apartment.

merrick's cowboy cookout. really expensive, but the dogs can't get enough of it. it doesn't have all the fillers that other brands have and also has freeze dried veggies in the mix.

I thought about getting the more recognized brand such as Purina and Alpo, but after reading about some of the ingredients, I dont think I will want my dog to eat that stuff. By-products are nasty!

My dogs eat Nutro Large Breed.

The key to fixing a picky eater is to not give him a choice. Put out his bowl of DRY food and let him eat what he wants. Pickiness will be gone in a week.

Some wet food is okay for a pup, but it is not as good for them as a pure dry diet.

I keep hearing this, but manufacturers still make wet food for pups?!

Our 75 pound pooch gets 2 cups of dry in the morning, 1 cup of dry & half a can of wet food in the evening. She has to take medicine for severe allergies so we drop it in and mix it up with the wet food. She scarfs it right up.

That's because people buy it...

Actually, really young puppies need soft food, but they can switch to dry only pretty quick. We had my dog on pure dry at about 12 weeks of age.
