Hello,
I want reading one book about hardware. and I don't take an exam.
Now with your opinion which is better for me?

Upgrading and Repairing PCs (21st Edition) by Scott Mueller

CompTIA A+ (Exam 220-801 and Exam 220-802)

CompTIA A+ Certification All-in-One Exam Guide, Ninth Edition

or other resources?

Thanks

If you're not looking to get any certifications, the Scott Mueller book is pretty good but there's a newer (22nd Edition) out that includes newer hardware up through Haswell it looks like. http://www.quepublishing.com/store/upgrading-and-repairing-pcs-9780134057743

The CompTIA books are more for getting certified and have a more general slant (hardware and software).

Good luck.

I like Scott Mueller's books. But if you're just reading to learn about hardware function and configurations, forums like this and sites like AnandTech, Tom's Hardware, The Tech Report, etc are probably more current and practical.
