Hi
Im getting ready to build my 1st system and was curious about
the detail and quality of the owners manual and support that
comes with different brands of mobo's. Thanks for your help.

I'd have to say Epox; they have great customer service via e-mail.

As for support, that's what Anandtech is for. ;):D

My Dragon+ was my first Soyo board, and personally think it's been the best I've seen. Very comprehensive. Outlines everything in one manual, and in the order things need to be done. I hate getting seperate manuals for stuff (like for sound or RAID). Was very clear as to what everything in the BIOS did and what the best settings were.

i have never bought anything but ASUS - a solid performer every time. may not always be the "best," but you can count on never having a single problem.

For those manuals I have read (Abit,Asus,Tyan,Epox,Soyo,MSI) they were all lacking in proper explanations of a whole lot of things and as a result I have used the internet resources to get meaningful explanations of various settings. Therefore I would say none - both support and manuals. Now if they wrote in "English" then I may think differently.
Hey where do you think the boards are manufactured primarily!

Thats what I was thinking Regalk, It would be nice to have complete / thorough
instructions. Considering all the variables a complete mobo manual would
probably be to heavy to ship...ha...ha

you really should look at the soyo k7v dragon+

the manual is very detailed... its also about 3 or 4 times larger then most manuals (over 200 pages)
