I'm looking to add BT hands free to my car. Ideally (and I don't know if this exists) I'd like a unit that can pair to my blackberry and my iPod touch and output the music via Aux and cut the music off when the phone rings and resume playback when the call is over. I understand that they would generally work that way with a single phone/music player but does anyone know of any that handle two devices in that manner?

That would appear to only handle music, do you know if it does hands free phone?

Oops you're right, thats for music only.
I had a jabra freeway speakerphone before and it was able to play music and pause during a phone call, audio was pretty clear and loud too. You could also press the fm button on it and it would send the audio to your radio on a specific station.

Both Pioneer and JVC offer affordable ($150) head units that will stream music via BT and let you take calls hands-free. Both require that you use the included wired mike that you have to locate somewhere in your vehicle; running the wire can be problematic. I got the Pioneer DEH-6400BT mainly for music streaming and have yet to hook up the mike, as I get very few calls on my phone, and never answer it when driving. While this unit does have an AUX in and USB up front, the whole reason I got it was for wireless streaming, which it does nicely.

Yeah, I think that's the way I'll be going. There doesn't appear to be a non-permanent external BT device that will do what I want. The only permanent install one I could find that did everything I need was $150 plus install.
The JVC X50BT is $120 plus install parts and will pair with both my iPod and Blackberry at the same time.

I haven't been able to find any info about whether or not either of those support multipoint and can work with my iPod and BB at the same time. My company only uses BBs or I'd just get a new phone that can do both and make life simpler.
