Which bios to use with the Epox 8kha+ ??

Mine shipped with the 10/5 bios, but there was one from 10/17 on the epox site, so i upgraded. My timedemos in q3 have dropped about 6 frames. I'm not overclocking, and am using the optimized defualts.

My system is as follows:
Epox 8kha+ (which I love btw, no problems at all, i had to rma two ak31 rev 3.1 boards)
Retail Athlon XP 1800+ w/ retail HSF
Three 256meg Micron PC2100 DDR dimms
Elsa Gladiac Geforce2
SBLive Xgamer 5.0
15 gig ata100 ibm deskstar
intel 10/100 nic
Plexwriter 8/4/34 IDE rewriter
Enlight case w/ 340 watt PS

correct. I've lost 60 frames.

I got the 10/5 bios with my board, and since I can run 166 FSB with fastest bios settings and no stability issues I'm not changing it!

The only problem I have is over 150 FSB I have to reset twice in order to get it to boot. But this is a minor issue, for me anyway.

Sometimes the most recent bios is not the best. Use what works for you.

I`m running 10/17 and it's solid, just make sure you READ all the instructions and tips from Epox, regarding updating the BIOS.
