so... i used to be able to have it stable (prime for many hours) at 250*10.5, 2v, but then some weird thing happened, it just stopped being stable one day after I clocked it a little differently. it now is working it 250*10 with 1.8v. ram is in 1:1 ratio with 2.7v, 3-4-4-4-8 OR if i give the ram 3.1v, it will have no problem running 250mhz at cl2.5
gotta love geil, cause thats still within warranty hehehe. anywyas.. anybody know why it stopped taking it? i've tried a bunch of bioses but i suspect with the right one i can use it again. I would also love to use my ram to the fullest (highest stable fsb with hellfire 6/19 bios was 260something) ... which bios is best for fsb overclocking?
temps are around 50c at 2.5ghz, so thats not a problem. temps should drop a good bit once i get some as5 and better mounting system for waterblock (its all diy)
