which big city would you rather live in and why?

curious as to your opinions, i have to make a decision.

has to be within this list, because i'm choosing between jobs in those particular cities.

I live in chicago, grew up here, moved to FL for school and missed the Windy City too much, so I came back.

Sidenote, you can't beat a game at Wrigley Field...

None of those. San Francisco, or at least in the Bay Area. You're close to nice Cali beaches and within 4 hours of Lake Tahoe for skiing and other activities.

i would, but my job opportunities don't lie there unfortunately. being from california i'd love to return, especially to live in the bay.

nyc. it's fun here, there's tons of life here, and well, i wouldn't leave it for anything.

btw, it's much colder in chicago, and it's much hotter in houston. so nyc is the best of both worlds 😉

new york city -- live here, love it
chicago -- never been, but have friends who live there and love it. Need to visit.
philly -- cool town, only been once.
baltimore -- there are a few cool areas (friends live in Fell's Point), but for the most part a craphole.
houston -- boring, dirty, downtown surrounded by suburban wasteland.

Baltimore ? That ain't even in the same league

Considering they're all in the same climate except Houston...

Narrow it down to NYC (probably most exiting city in the US, but bad weather like the other northeast ones)

Houston (nice weather, but has the fattest people on average in America)

maybe he has a job offer and can relocate to any of the above five cities.... that's why no california cities are listed?

eww..

weather in those cities all suck.

NYC has too extremes of temperatures, and it's NYC. It's only good for visiting.
Chicago is too cold, and too goddamn humid during summers. Only good for visiting.
Philly's too cold, and probably has the ghettoist area in US.
Baltimore, well, i never been there. But It's probably way too cold there as well.
Houston is way too goddamn humid.

Only place to live is southern california.
