Which beer should I try?

I love MGD... Nothing tops it IMHO and I am still curious as what others I could try before settling on one beer 😉

If you like MGD, then there is a long list of things that will impress you.

Pick up a case of the Sam Adams' Winterfest 2 pack. It's like a sampler of 6 different beers, and only one of them isn't so hot.

Like Injury said, if you like MGD, there really is a list of different beers that you would probably enjoy. I enjoy drinking a nice bottle of Grolsch.

Maredsous Tripel or Chimay Bleue, both are 10% and both are fantastic. Can't reallly go wrong with something from Witchwood either. The list is endless...

On the cheap, I'd go with Old Milwaukee. A brown box of 24 longnecks is $9.99 if you can find 'em in your neck of the woods. I used to go through a box a week for about a year back in college.

Barring that, I'd go for some PBR (the local favorite, but not mine).

If you're willing to spend a bit more, I love Labbatt Blue.

A little more, and you can get a locally distributed beer like Bell's, Deschutes, etc....

BTW, why "settle" on one beer?

Just saw you are from Salem. I recommend (in no particular order): Deschutes Obsidian Stout, Deschutes Jubelale, Pelican IPA, Amnesia IPA (just had it for the first time tonight. My new favorite beer!), Lagunitas Brown Shugga' (it's very sweet, but is %10), and Flat Tire.

You don't seem to like that great of beer so I would say go with a Pyramid Hefeweizen.

HEB. It's a grocery store down here in Texas. Carries quite a nice range of brews.

Harp is really good ... also Newcastle Brown ale.

Kingfisher, Tsing Tao, Cobra, Tiger, Oranjeboom and Singha. Are all particular favourites of mine, I'd highley recommend taking the Kingfisher with a curry. Most a great for meals but the Oranjeboom is by far the best for just drinking on its own.
