Hi all. I'm going to be setting up a wired/wireless network for my folks so my question is, should I get an a/g compatible router/card to possibly avoid interference issues with cordless phones/microwave etc.? They are using 2.4ghz phones (one base and an extra headset) in a mid size one story house. Just wondering if its going to be an issue that I should just avoid really. I don't need anything with serious hardcore options, just something basic thats fairly secure so they can use a laptop wirelessly with the main computer being wired to the dsl line.

Also, Bestbuy has a dlink set on sale this week for about $50 after rebate. Good deal?

TIA

Well, its faster but its $30 more after rebates. 🙂 Thx tho. Probably just gonna get something at circuitcity locally so if there is a problem its easy to return it.
