<< I also used to have a ton of Transformers, I even had 2 of the big ones. (Omega Supreme and Metroplex... booyah!)

Yeah . . . Omega Supreme was the tank, rocket ship, train thing that turned into one giant robot right? I had that one, and Metroplex. Except Metroplex had a frickin' wasp waist and split right in half. I had to epoxy him back together. I always wanted to get Trypticon, who was the Decepticon arch rival to Metroplex . . . he turned into a dinosaur or a city.

Hmm . . . I think I had all (5?) of the Dinobots . . . not very many of the old classic ones, I think I had the Lamborghini, and the one that was the same body style as Prowl but a different color. I had a lot of the newer ones. The powermasters came with this little biddy guys that turned into engines, and you had to plug the engines in to unlock them so you could change them around.

There was one I always wanted, but I think it was like a hunded bucks . . . it was something like three feet tall, and the head came off, and turned into a robot that was the normal size of the other Transformers, and then it's head came off . . . Fortress something? I can't remember.

Holy ^&#^@! This is bringing back some old memories.

I had Snarl and Grimlock of the Dinobots, Bumblebee, the Porsche LeMans car (can't remember name), Starscream, and all the 5 Constructicons that made up Devastator. My neighbor had the dinosaur arch-enemy/nemesis of Metroplex, Trypticon, and that thing was bad-ass!

I just did a search on Google, and I can't believe how many Transformers pages there are!

This page is freakin' amazing!

Wasn't Unicron the name of the huge thing in the TF movie?

Was Transformers an American or Japanese cartoon??? I thought it was American, until a friend of mine pointed out that nobody ever dies in American cartoons... and Optimus Prime died in the movie.
Marvel made comics I know... maybe he died just 'cause it was the movie and not the TV show...

Anyone seen the new Transformers cartoon? I think it looks like crap compared the the original.

Not true.

Duke died in the GI Joe movie. I think I may have shed a tear that time. :)

the original transformers cartoon is an american creation/work. it is based on a line of japanese toys, but the animation/story is american. then it was dubbed for japan where it became pretty popular and spawned off many other series after it died off in the states.

Prowl too, hmm, I'm the geeky Autobot and prefers Linux which I've never used, have the Red Hat cd's lying beside my monitor though... The geek part I already knew :D

Transformers is japanese, the scripts and designs were made in the US and it was animated by Toei according to the Anime Encyclopedia. There has been 11 Tranformer series I think.
