Which audio format is better? This might help.

It's an audio test. It plays the same file compressed with wma, mp3, ogg, lame and aac for comparison. Just follow the instructions provided. It is better to do this with headphones than speakers.

this is a hearing test. you download the same sample compressed with the aforementioned codecs and listen to them, one by one. you don't ever hear which codec is in use until the test is finished.

Hence my smiley. But you have to admit that you can't get better sound than 100% equivalent to the original CD (i.e. lossless). FLAC is the audio equivalent of ZIP files.

this thing doesnt work for me, i followed the directions but i cant open the test files.
