Which ATi Card is the equivalent of a GeForce 3?

Yep, 8500LE is faster than Ti 200, and just a tad slower than Ti 500.

I've had almost all of them. Just be advised that the R8500LE has gone through alot of changes in recent times. It's not clocked as high as it used to be.

Roughly, give or take, this is how I'd compare them.

R8500LE (new 230/230 or lower) = GeForce 3 ti200
R8500LE (old 250/250) = GeForce 3 (original 200/460)
R8500 (275/275) = GeForce 3 ti500

The "old" R8500LE is known as the R9100 now.

You'd also find that depending on which GF3 card you're comparing the 8500 to, the 8500 Will have considerable better image quality... Especially in 2d... There was a lot of variance in GF3 and 2d/IQ when they 1st came out.
