Which ATI 9500 Pro to get?

I am going to upgrade my vid card (currently a voodoo 3000) and right now the Radeon 9500 Pro is my top choice. I would like to know what the difference is between the ATI built card vs. Sapphire built card.
Is there any performance differences?
Driver differences?
Is there a big difference between retail and oem?

Right now I can order an ATI Radeon 9500 Pro oem for $161.57 from Techmole

Welcome to the boards

Not sure if there are any differences between the ATI and Sapphire cards. As far as I know they are built on the same reference design. I'm very happy with my ATI build 9500Pro.

OEM vrs retail: OEM you usually get the card and a CD for the drivers. Retail you get the box, card, drivers, video cables and some times DVD software.

Techmole, haven?t heard of them before. Have you ordered from them? I?d be cautious, no info on bizrate.com and by the looks of it 1 bad (only1?) rating at resellerratings.com.

The OEM I got from Newegg came with all the cables.

if im right saphire makes the cards for both companies cept the ati opne is badged ati and the saphire one isnt. But they are the same card.
